Intimate apparel and indulgences can be found at 13017A Ventura Boulevard in Studio City. Pronounced “fair fru-fru”, this little boutique takes lavish intimate apparel shopping to a whole new level. The unique name is from a French phrase that means “to show off”, and you will find several items here that will definitely do that!
The Shop
It is hard to miss the colorful green and pink canopy, the flowers and picket white fence, just outside the pink-framed glass door to this shop dedicated to women who demand the best. As you peek in the window, you can imagine what it would be like to see a Parisian ladies boudoir, as you gaze over the many selections that are framed with the most exquisite furnishings and mirrors throughout. The light shines down from perfectly placed lights and lavish crystal chandeliers. You are about to experience some of the most exclusive and high-quality products found any where in the world.
This unique boutique is co-founded by a mother and daughter, Gail and Alison Rubke, who are always getting the newest items available from every corner of the globe. They combine their many talents to bring a fresh new look to all women who enter their shop. You will not be let down; you may be overwhelmed from the many selections offered allowing you to display your feminine, flirty, and sexy side wearing lingerie or lingerie-inspired outerwear that is available here. Their store or product lines have been featured in several magazines like Vogue, Los Angeles, Lucky, Sports Illustrated, Modern Bride, and many more. They have also been featured on several TV shows and websites.
The Selections
They offer you selections from top of the line designers from all over the world and also have their own line of specially designed lingerie that you must see. They have several gift items, antique finds, Tocca candles, Safia jewelry, and kai fragrances for you to choose from besides the many lingerie products. They are always getting creations from new designers that you can find among all your favorites.
